A 3.35 kg ball moving at 4.20 m/s to the right hits a 2.45 kg ball head-on that is traveling at 3.50 m/s to the left. The second ball ends up going to the right with a velocity of 5.50 m/s. What is the velocity of the first ball after the collision?

momentum before=momentum after
3.35*4.2+2.45(-3.50)=2.45(-5.5)+3.35V solve for V
