If you have a Pelican that weigh 30lb how would you find the wingspan of the Pelican with the rational exponent equation L=2.43*W^0.3326

You need to be sure of what units to use for W (weight) and L (wingspan) with that formula. Presumably W is in feet.
The answer seems rather large, but Dalmation pelicans have wingspans of up to ten feet.
