I don't know. I don't know which reengineering you mean, nor what its goal is. Any of those answers could be correct, depending upon what the purpose of the reengineering is.

One would hope that a is the answer, however in reality, changes often have consequences that were unforeseen. A good engineering rule is , "if it is working, don't mess with it"
