Water is added to 25 ml of a .911 M KNO3 solution until the volume of solution is exactly 500ml. What is the concentration of the final solution.

0.911 M x 25/500 = ??M OR

another way:
moles KNO3 = M x L = 0.025 x 0.911 = ??moles
Then M = moles KNO3/0.500 L.
You should obtain the same answer either way.
