                supose that (f(x+h)-f(x))/h=3x^2-6h+5 and f(1)=8. ind the equation of the tangent line to the graph of y=f(x) at x=1. if we write this equation in the form y=mx+b then m=? and b=?

    equation of the tangent line is y-f(a)=f'(a)(x-a)
in this case i am assuming your a=1 so your f(1)=8
to find f'(a) plug 1 into your derivative , It will be 2
y-8=2(x-1)
now solve for y
y=2x-2+8
y=2x+6 <-- y=mx+b form.
