When one is referencing mood, I know estar is generally used because states of mood are temporary. In the following sentence, though, it seems like ser might be more appropriate, at least for the first part, because "siempre" indicates the mood is permanent. In the two blanks, would you use conjugations of ser or estar?

Por las mananas, ella --- siempre de buen humor. Ella piensa que la gente --- demasiado seria.

Definitely use "es" in the first because of "siempre" and in the 2nd, if she is firm in her opinion.
