Forming interest groups is one of the most effective ways for ordinary people to effect change in government. Interest groups can organize individuals around shared concerns or goals, mobilize resources, advocate for policy changes, and influence lawmakers and public opinion. Through collective action, members can amplify their voices and increase their chances of making an impact on government decisions.
While repaying debt and refusing to vote can have implications for governance, they are less direct methods of creating change compared to organizing and advocating through interest groups.
