Strait of Gibraltar whic connects the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Is that sufficient enough

Straits are natural channels connecting large bodies of saltwater. You gave a very good example. Others would be the Bosporus, Bering Strait, Strait of Magellan and the Strait of Juan de Fuca
