There are different ways to solve a quadratic equation. The problem can most easily be solved by factoring.
2x²+4x+2 = 0
2(x²+2x+1) = 0
2(x+1)² = 0
therefore x+1=0.
Can you take it from here?
2x²+4x+2 = 0
2(x²+2x+1) = 0
2(x+1)² = 0
therefore x+1=0.
Can you take it from here?
