√(5x-6)=x
square both sides,
5x-6=x²
x²-5x+6=0
(x-3)(x-2)=0
x=2 or x=3.
Substitute into original equation:
√(5*2-6)=√4=2
√(5*3-6)=√9=3
So both solutions are good.
