According to the IUPAC system what is the following compound:

I am unsure of what three dashes "up and down" means AND two of the C atoms (#3 and 4 from the left) don't have four bonds; therefore, I won't attempt to name it. If an extra H is added to C #2 and #3 and the double bond shown actually is a triple bond, then the IUPAC name would be 1- pentyne
