It is "almost" a right - angled triangle.
1.7^2 + 1.7^2 = 5.78
2.4^2 = 5.76 , close but not right-angled
anyway, ...
Area is(almost) = (1/2)base(height)
= (1/2)1.7(1.7) = 1.4
which is not what you gave.
1.7^2 + 1.7^2 = 5.78
2.4^2 = 5.76 , close but not right-angled
anyway, ...
Area is(almost) = (1/2)base(height)
= (1/2)1.7(1.7) = 1.4
which is not what you gave.
