How would you solve the following 2 equations for "X"?

x-4(divided by)12=7(divided by3

and

100(divided by)30=4(divided by)3x

(x-4)/12 = 7/3

Multiply both sides by 12.

x-4 = 28

You should be able to take that one from there.

100/30 = 10/3 = 4/3x

Multiply both sides by 3x.

10x = 4

Take it from there.
