I tried that but came up with links to "present day" Goth music or literature reviews.
Thank you Ms. Sue. Your second link was what I was looking for. Thanks again.
Thank you for your help. I was using the wording from our syllabus.
The circumference is equal to (2)(pi)(r). Since you know the circumference is 16,and you know the value of pi and 2,solve for r.
What is Your essay about first of all?
thank you! :D
I'm sorry, but I really, really need help with this, but it's due tomorrow and I'm so lost..
omg thank you for much!!! :>
thank you. :D
Where do I add parentheses to make this expression equal a 1 when it is simplified? Expression: 6 + 9 / 3 - 2 When this expression is simplified w/o any parentheses, it equals 7. I just need to know where to put the parentheses so that it will equal 1. And we have to use the ORDER OF OPERATION.
How does that work?
The range is the difference between the greater number and the lower number. It would be 9 - 1 = 8
Thank you sooo much. :]
I get it now. Thanks a lot. :]
This helps a lot too. Thank You. :]
Okay, sorry. but, thanks. I get it now. :]
Thank you.
It's the M main sequence in case your still wondering lol
If I skateboard 5 blocks west and 8blocks norrth to get to my friends house and a block is 1?8 mile in length. How far do I travel to my friend's house round trip?
If I skateboard 5 blocks west and 8blocks norrth to get to my friends house and a block is 1/8 mile in length. How far do I travel to my friend's house round trip?
The math problem is I skateboar 5blocks west and 8 miles north to get to my friend's house, Each block is 1/8 mile in length. Howfar does it take me to travel in a round trip to my friend's house in miles?
About the skateboarding 5 blocks west and 8 blocks north to get to my friend's house. With a block being equal to 1/8 of a mile in length. Wanting to know how far would I travel in a round trip. I was thinking 8 blocks equal 1 mile because 5,280 feet is a mile and 1/8 of 5,280 is 660 feet. 660 x 8 =5,280 feet which is a mile. So 1 5/8 x2 =3 2/8 mile round trip. Is my thikning right?
Thank you.. and I'm sorry.
Yes. Thank You very much.
Thank You!
I am talking about Radicals, not actaully calculating the square roots. My book says that the answer is 195 + 47*{5 I just don't get how they got that answer.
Thank you both!
I am really lost on all of those 3 problems. Help please?
OHHH now I get it! thank you very much!
Wait, I don't get it. I solved 3t = 6 (1/4 - t) and got 11.66666666666.... and then what do I do? ..or did I do that wrong?
Oh, i see. thank you.
Orientalism is a simplistic view of people and history of the Orient, not recognizing the diversity in its many cultures. This is a broad generallization and grouping (stereotyping) of all people from the Oriental nations around the world. Orientalism is a form of prejudice which can lead to hate and hate crimes against the Muslim and Arab Americans because of a lack of knowledge about their race and religious beliefs, and a fear of these people because they are different. Yes, I am also an Axia UOP student and find the questions and answers a real pain in the ....! I'm glad to know I'm not alone.
Thank You.
okay, is it okay if you can check my work later after I solve them ?
But what are the equations for me to solve them? I need equations, that's what the directions are telling me.
Divide the top number [3] by the bottom number [5] on your calculator. Then multiply that by 100 and that is the percentage. 3/5 * 100 = 60%
oh, I just can't find the link right now.
I don't know how to do these things though. Is there like a step-by-step process in doing it ??
how did you figure out the formula ?
Oh, I see now. sorry.
Yeah, kinda. I am asking what is the best way to solve each one by either: algebraically, graphing and using the quadratic formula and why you chose that method.
isn't 2*5ft eqaul 10 feet, not 20 ? After doing it twice would be 20 ?
oh, thank you very much.
Yeah, thanks so much! I just got confused because the equations were in fraction form!
Write an essay that compares and contrasts the ways in which China and Japan responded to the West. Describe how each nation’s decision to respond to the West affected its domestic and foreign affairs in the years that followed. Refer to the Student Guide for detailed information about this assignment.
It is needed as a catalyst. If it is left out, the reaction will not happen.
If you want to make it more simple !!, here's another answer. By newtons first law, the sum of all static forces at a balanced system is zero. Otherwise it will be moving...!!! Add all vertical forces: Here you have to consider a hidden force R form Reaction at support in opposite direction of forces (here at fulcrum acting upwards) W + 400 - R = 0 R = W+400 Add all Torques about any point within or outside the lever. Better choose the point of unknown force or fulcrum to make it simple, as in the previous answer. Distances are based on the point you select. Let's take about point of unknown force W: W*0 + 400*5 - R*1 = 0 ; R = 400*5 plug in value of R from previous step: (W+400) = 400*5 ; W = 400*5 - 400 = 2000-400 = 1600 N quite simple OK. Now try with any other point.
Each horse pulls with a force of 700 N at an angle of 10° with the centerline of the canal. 700N acts at an angle of 10° to the direction of motion of barge and contributes only a part of the force. F*sin(10)to the opposite side of angle (along lateral direction) and F*cos(10) to the adjacent side of angle (along centerline of canal) Net Force from 2 horses = 2*[700*cos(10)] = 1378.73 N

I think it's safe to say Alexa's condo is NOT a qualified residence (she did not reside in it at all) - that said, Alexa makes all decisions with respect to the property, qualifying her as an active participant . . . so, is she able to deduct the mortgage interest (as long as her AGI does not exceed the limit)??
This doesn't make sense, because the the sin of any number never has a value greater than 1. This is because the inverse of sin (or arcsin, if you will) of a value (like 1.5, in this example) asks for what value of theta (what angle measure on the unit circle) the sin will be equal to that value (1.5). Because the sin of any angle is never greater than one, one cannot take the arcsin of any value greater than 1.
Just multiply those three numbers together. Volume is just space in three dimensions, so 36 x 2 x 2 ('x' being a multiplication sign) will give you your total volume.
Thanks for the insight! So I've calculated the z-score to be about -1.47, or about -1.5. Looking at a z-distribution table, I see on the left a column for z-scores and I see -1.5 there, but there are many values corresponding on the right? Do you know how I know which one to use?
Never mind- I've figured it out, THANK YOU MathGuru!
Oh...I know theres a multiplicity involved, and the difference of those two expressions has to equal 0, because their difference dot the c vector has to be 0, so they can be perpendicular, correct? Sorry, I'm not sure how what you said relates to this problem when I have to use arbitrary vectors...
Hi Dr Bob, is this right so far? mass h2o = (d)(v) = (0.998 g/mL)(58 mL) = 57.884 g 57.884 g H2O/18g H2O = 3.2157 mol H2O mass ethanol = (0.789 g/mL)(42 mL) = 33.138 g 33.138 g C2H6O/46.0687 g C2H6O = 0.719 mol C2H6O molality (m) = 0.71937 mol C2H6O/0.057884 kg H2O = 12.43 m xH2O = 12.45/(12.43+3.2157) = 0.794 xEthanol = 12.43/(12.43 + 0.719) = 0.91 ?
i got it! thanks Dr Bob
yes that was correct! thank you
Which of the following services is provided through the ask- librarian in the penn foster library? A A.a full list of materials you all Ned for your research. What is the gravitation field strength of a height above the surface of the earth? R is the radius of the earth. Ans a, pls correct
I don't quite understand what your trying to say here. Is this suppose to be an Inequality or Algebraic Equation or what is it that I am actually suppose to solve?
Thanks for explaining this to me!
Let me see if I have this right and what your saying: (x + 2) (x - 3) > 0 x squared - 3x + 2x -6 > 0 x squared - 1x - 6 > 0 Is this how you solve the problem?
I don't see any numerical value of what p and q are equal to so I am only understanding that the problem in front of me and what I am looking at shows me an inequality. What is it that I am missing here? I don't quite understand exactly what it is that I am suppose to insert or substitute.
I am not sure what this one is but I will see whether or not I get this right. If x < -2 V x < 3 then (x + 2) (x - 3) < 0
Also, what does the wavy line mean when you mentioned the Inverse: If ~ p then ~ q (~ p - > ~ q) Another question what does the dash mean after the p in the parentheses? Is that supposed to be a dash, hyphen, minus, less than or equal to, or greater than or equal to?
Another question also is the example where you did the converse is that true or false?
Would one of these be the Inverse? If x > -2 V x < 3 then (x +2) (x-3) < 0 If x > -2 V x < 3 then (x + 2) (x-3) > 0 If x > -2 V x > 3 then (x + 2) (x - 3) > 0 If x > -2 V x > 3 then ( x + 2) (x - 3) < 0
No, let me try this again would the Inverse be one of the following: If x > -2 V x < 3 then (x +2) (x-3) < 0 If x > -2 V x < 3 then (x + 2) (x-3) > 0 If x > -2 V x > 3 then (x + 2) (x - 3) > 0 If x > -2 V x > 3 then ( x + 2) (x - 3) < 0
When it comes to the Inverse then is the statement true or false?
SraJMcGin: I would like to ask a couple of questions so I can try to understand my assignment better. I am in a Spanish Literature course in College and would like to know some questions that I need answers to: 1. Which type of Spanish(1. Latin American Spanish, 2. Mexican American Spanish, or 3. European American Spanish) am I suppose to use for translating a paper that is APA Style from English to Spanish for Spanish Literature? 2. Am I suppose to write in First Person, Second Person, or Third Person? 3. Which tense am I suppose to use such as Progressive, Conditional, Past, Future, or Present when writing a paper for Spanish Literature?
My assignment is as follows: How do you perceive the reality and the fantasies in the readings of Jorge Luis Borges (El Sur and La Brujula), Julio Cortazar (Continuad de los parques and la noche boca arriba) and Carlos Fuentes (Chac Mool). The paper has to be written 3 pages APA Style in Spanish. The stories can be found online in Spanish and in English. I am sending the stories that I found online in English. I have them in Spanish, too. I am also sending the rubric for grading the assignment: Ideas presented are specific to Borges: maximum points 3 Ideas are specific to Cortazar: maximum points 3 Ideas are specific to Fuentes: maximum points 3 The ideas are intergrated: maximum points 3 Use of correct Spanish grammar, punctuation, and APA Style: 3 points
50 + 10d < 30 + 15d -10d < - 10d 50 < 30 + 5d -30 -30 20 < 5d /5 < 5 4 < d Please tell me if this is the right answer.
I will try and get C cleared up and maybe think of something else to put in place of it.
Thanks Steve! I am starting to write these down so that way I will understand them. It is easier for me to go off an example. I appreciate all your help.
Sorry this follows this question as follows: A = 1 4 2 3 2 9 13 18 3 10 8 15
For the matrices I came up with the following: a. -5 + -14 = -19 b. 6 + 16 = 22 c. -15 + 21 = 6 d 18 + -24 = -6 Is this right? What am I suppose to do afterwards?
MathMate: No I am not able to answer this question because I am quite confused between what shapes you can use to draw them up as a cycle graph and complete graph. Also, its a little confusing to me as to how many edges each vertex should have when it comes to cycle graph or complete graph.
MathMate: Thank you! Can you please help me with my other math problems that I need help with? I would greatly appreciate it.
MathMate: Thank you!
MathMate: Is this correct then for the following problem: Let G be a graph with the vertex set V = [v1, v2, v3, v4, v5). If the degrees of the vertices are 5, 1, 0, 6, 2, respectively, does G have an Eulerian path? Why or why not? 5 + 1 + 0 + 6 + 2 = 14 2E = 14 E = 7 Yes, this problem does have an Eulerian path because it can have an odd degree or an incomplete graph can have the degree of 0 at one or more of the vertices.
MathMate: Is this correct for the following problem: 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 6 = 16 2E = 16 E = 8 Does the graph have 8 edges?
MathMate: Is this correct for the following problem? 3 + 6 + 2 + 1 + 5 2E = 17 E = 8.5 If your allowed to have a decimal as an answer, then to come up with the answer for the amount of edges then yes it is possible for the degrees of the vertices to be 3, 6, 2, 1, 5. If your not allowed to have a decimal as an answer for the amount of edges, then no its not possible for the degrees of the vertices to be 3, 6, 2, 1, 5.
Ms. Sue: How am I suppose to post up these graphs? It will not let me copy and paste them.
What does the math symbols such as ^ and * mean? I still don't understand exactly what your trying to solve for. Am I trying to figure out the half-life of radioactive waste? Am I trying to figure out how many thousand years it takes in a half-life of radioactive waste? What does the term in math mean when saying "half-life"? Is the 1/8 suppose to stay as a fraction or be turned into a decimal or percent?
3/4 - 3/5 Find the least common denominator of 4 and 5. 3/4 = 15/20 Multiply the top and bottom by 5. 3/5 = 12/20 Multiply the top and bottom by 4. 15/20 - 12/20 = 3/20 3/20 is your answer. That is in lowest terms and can't be reduced any further.

Does it matter what kind of dictionary (such as pocket size, trial size, or regular standard) when it comes to dictionaries? Is it alright to use a thesaurus? What type of dictionaries are you talking about like Legal, Business, Law, etc? How many definitions are recommended to be used when writing a lexicon?
I need correction
Here is the correct spelling of the words (Punctuation, Spelling, and Grammar) Travon to the following of what you posted above: Hello! My name is Travon. I need help on making my spelling words into two sentences. For example, a sentence I need to write is, "I see the green frog", or "He is sitting on the log."
Those are the words I'm supposed to put in the diagram
