Why do most Canadians live near the U.S border? (two reasons)
One of my reasons were: to trade.
(I remember that the teacher was saying that)

The climate is much better near the border. Further north the winters are bitterly cold and snowy. Also, agriculture flourishes in the southern part of Canada, as does most industry.
