you multiply all of it by -1 to change the x into postive.
therefore,
x^2+7x-11=0
then apply this to the fo9rmula
-b+- the sqaure root of (b^2 - 4*a*c)/2a
where a = 1
b=7
c=-11
work out the answer, its very easy (:
