What are the slope and y-intercept of the graph of the following equation?
1/3x=1/2(y+4)
So I used slope intercept formula and rearranged it to be 1/2y=-1/3x+2
then I isolated y by multiplying by the reciprocal and got y=-2/3x+4
is that right?? My friend said its +4!

(1/3)x=1/2(y+4)
(1/3)x=(1/2)y + 2 or
(1/2)y + 2 = (1/3)x
(1/2)y = (1/3)x - 2
y = (2/3)x - 4
(1/3)x=(1/2)y + 2 or
(1/2)y + 2 = (1/3)x
(1/2)y = (1/3)x - 2
y = (2/3)x - 4
