Proofreading is the last thing you do.
Note that the question asks, "What is the next step before he revises it?"
A and B are part of the revision process. Therefore, the best answer is to let it sit for a few days (or at least over night).

now y will corey let his essay sit for a few days when maybe his essay is do so he should probebly proff read it and write another draft.

He should write the first draft when he has plenty of time to let it sit one day. Then he will be able to see what he has written more objectively. Then he will be better able to look not only at grammatical errors but also organization.
