Rewrite the equation so that y is a function of x:

1. 1/2(y+5)+4x=3x

2. Use the result in Ex. 1 to find y when x= -1, 0, and 2

Can you please check if this is right?

1. y=-2x+4.5

2. f(-1)=-2(-1)+4.5
=6.5
f(0)=-2(0)+4.5
=4.5
f(2)=-2(2)+4.5
=0.5
