how do I solve this M/6 - 7 = 2/3

3 answers

multiply both sides by 6

M-42=4
multiply each side by 6, which wuill cancel out the 6 on the left side of the equation, and on the left you will multiply 2/3 and 6, giving you 4.
now you have m-7=4
add 7 to both sides, giving you
m=11
sorry i messed up
ou have to multiply the seven too
