Cutaneous (skin) – consists of keratinized stratified squamous epithelium attached to a
thick layer of dense irregular connective tissue (dermis); is a dry membrane
The effect of cellular pathology and keratinization of skin and nasal cells upon binding of Staphylococcus aureus were examined. Adherence with epithelial cells obtained from either the skin or nasal mucosa of patients with atopic dermatitis was greater than that observed with normal cells (p less than 0.001); the difference in adherence between psoriatic and normal cells was not statistically significant. Tested nasal cells were microscopically differentiated into 4 general types based on stage or layer of keratinization: spinous, low granular, high granular, and keratin. The degree of adherence was related to the progress of keratinization. Data indicated the existence of 2 types of receptors for S. aureus on nasal cells: One, present upon both granular and fully keratinized cells, is not blocked by teichoic acid and appears responsible for the higher bacterial counts on atopic cells; the second is found on keratinized cells only and is susceptible to teichoic acid.

Is it correct
That's what I came up with also.
My instructor seems to have a lot of "mistakes" when giving us multiple choice answers.
I guess I will just show what I got and go from there.
Thanks
no not really...need a little more help
thanks
have no idea..i am totally lost
I get 1.477 % is that correct?
1,046,500,000 minus 426,000,043 = 620,499,957 ÷ 420,000,043 = 1.4777
so my answer is $106.67 correct
8.0 x 24.0 /1.6 = 192/1.6 =120
s = 120
can't find previous posts..still don't get it

would the anwer be than
(3x+1/2y)(3x+1/2y)
thank you yes i was trying to figure out how to solve for w
here is what i got:
(x-3)(x-3)+(x+2)(x=2=17
2x^2-2x=22
x=11
Does that seem right?
thank you very much for all your help, you really help by showing how to solve for x rather than just tell me what to do. I have a better understanding.
thank you very much I tried this many times and was not able to solve it.
if I were to write and equation for this x being the study time and s being the score would this be correct
2x=s?
Thank you very much for your help I think in the past you have help me it made more scense after i read your post...If you could i have an earlier post that Candice replied to if you could look at it and let me know your thougts it would be great.

Thank you for your help I have changed it a bit. I know I still have to put a couple of adj and adverbs but what do you think now
Recently I watched the 2010 version of “Nightmare on Elm Street” it was quite different from the 1984 version. A woman Nancy is having grisly nightmares. Something monstrous wants to kill her. Meanwhile, her high school friends, who are having the very same dream, are being slaughtered in their sleep by the hideous fiend of their shared nightmare. When police ignore her explanation, she herself must confront the killer in his shadowy realm. Every movie is unique, and in every remake, you can always see the similarities and differences. One noticeable difference was the way the villain was portrayed. In the 1984 version the man “Freddy” was very frightening (superlative) and bloody (comparative) than in the remake. . The acting was better (comparative) in the original movie but the computer graphics were the best (superlative) in the remake. The producers spent more (comparative) money on previews for the “Nightmare on Elm Street” remake than on the 1984 version. I liked both versions but am more of a fan of the original. I think that may be because I was a teenager when the first movie came out. I would not say that the original was the best (superlative) movie I have ever seen but it is one of my favorites.
Ms. Sue,
Many times I've come to this website looking for help and I see your answeres. You are so out of line and hateful. If you are retired. Maybe you also need to retired from this website.
Thank you! That was a fast answer! What if it was angles? The angles of a triangles have the ratio 3:4:5 - would you say that 3x + 4x + 5x = 180 and then solve for x?
Thank you so much!

The oxyanion, CrO4 2- the chromate ion, is not in the solubility rules in our text. Examine your results from this lab and write a solubility rule CrO4 2-, the chromate ion. Cite experimental eidence to support your rule. This what our professor wants us to do.
Dr. Bob, thanks for answering. What does w/w and w/v and soln mean? i am an a student in chemistry but am having difficulty with this piece.

Dr. Bob, thank you kindly. Do you know if copper sulfate is considered an mm solution?
Thanks.
Deb
Thank you. You have been so helpful. I appreciate it.

Since 12n = 12(5m+1)= 60m +12, our goal is to now count integers m such that 100 less than or equal to 60m +12<1000. Subtracing 12 from each part of the inequality, we get 88 lees than or equal to 60m<988. Dividing by 60, we get 2 less than or equal to m less than or equal to 16, so there are 16-1=15 values for the integer m that give us the three-digit multiples of 4 and 6 that have units digits of 2.

I plugged in the numbers and here's my answer...
Company A: 1% x 550 = 5.5 are bad
Company B: 6% x 850 = 51 are bad
Total bad of defective stereos = 5.5 + 51 = 56.5
P(A | Bad) = 5.5 / 56.5 = 11/113
So Probability that the defective one is from A = 0.097345
Sorry I got my subjects mixed up, I meant geometry
So for #2, it would be just "estudiemos"? And #4 is Pasear? Because I am in Spanish 3 and we are using Iop/Dop's with this as well so I'm not sure on how I would apply those to these examples?

What is the equation of the line that has a slope of -2 and a y-intercept of -7?
y = -2x - 7
y = -7x - 2 <-
y = -2x + 7
y = -7x + 2
Find the equation of the line that has a slope of 4 and contains the point (-4, 1).
y = 4x + 1
y = 4x - 8
y = 4x - 15 <--
y = 4x + 17
Find the equation of the line that passes through the point (1,5) and has a slope of -2.
y = -2x + 7 <-- im not sure
y = -2x + 11
y = 2x - 9 or <--
y = 2x + 3
Which equation represents the line that passes through the points (-3,7) and (3,3)?
y=2/3x+1
y=2/3x+9 <-- im not sure on the last two.
y=-2/3x+9
y=-2/3x+5
