Solve by the subsitution method.
2x+4y=-6
-3x+y=23
y=23+3x
2x +4(23+3x)=-6
2x +92 +12 x =-6
x=7
y= 23 I am lost after this could some one help me

check your arithmetic from
2x +92 +12 x =-6 to
x = 7
should have been x = -7
then y = 23-21 = 2
