To know how much pastry is needed, the chef wants to know the surface area of the cheese wheel. What is the total surface area of the cheese wheel in square inches?

I would assume you want to cover the top (circle) and the sleeve (rectangle)
r = 3, h = 2
SA = π r^2 + 2π rh
= π(3^2) + 2π(3)(2)
= 9π + 12π
= 13π or appr 40.84 in^2
r = 3, h = 2
SA = π r^2 + 2π rh
= π(3^2) + 2π(3)(2)
= 9π + 12π
= 13π or appr 40.84 in^2
