State the zeros of the following function
f(x)= (x^3+1)(x-17)

set each factor equal to zero
x-17=0 ------> x = 17
x^3 + 1 = 0
(x+1)(x^2 - x + 1) = 0
x = -1 or
x = (1 ±√-3)/2

x = -1, 17 , (1 ± i√3)/2
