An elastic cord can be stretched by a load of 2N. If a 35cm length of the cord extended tp 0.6cm by a load of 0.5N, what will be the length of the cord when the stretching force is 2.5N?

the stretch will be 2.5/.5 * 0.6 = 3 cm
so the length will be 38cm
Not sure what this means:
"An elastic cord can be stretched by a load of 2N."
unless it means the cord will snap; in that case the 2.5N load will damage it, rather than stretch it.
so the length will be 38cm
