An elastic cord is 69 {\rm cm} long when a weight of 79 {\rm N} hangs from it but is 90 {\rm cm} long when a weight of 170 {\rm N} hangs from it.What is the "spring" constant k of this elastic cord?

(170-69)/(.9-.69) = k
