A recipe calls for 2 2/4 cups of raisins, but Julie has only a 1/4 cup measuring cup. how can she use this measuring cup to measure out the raisins?

Odd that they didn't say 2 1/2 instead of 2 2/4 ....
anyway, just 2 1/2 ÷ 1/4
= 5/2 * 4/1
= 10
so she fills up the quarter cup 10 times
