ratio of
50 cent coin : dollar coin : 20 cent coin = 4:4:2 = 2 : 2 : 1
so...
number of 50 cent coins --- 2x
number of dollar coins --- 2x
numbr of 20 cent coins = x
value of 50 cent coins = 50(2x) = 100x cents
value of 20 cent coins = 20(x) = 20x cents
100x - 20x = 1600
x = 20
50 cent coins ---- 40
dollar coins ----- 40
20 cent coins ---- 20
state your conclusion.
