you keep saying 10x30, but have you considered a 20x20?
10*30 < 20*20
10*30 < 20*20

A = x * y
2 x + 2 y = 80
x + y = 40 so y = 40 - x
A =x * (40 -x)
A =40x - x^2
dA/dx = 40 - 2 x
0 when x = 20, then y also = 20
2 x + 2 y = 80
x + y = 40 so y = 40 - x
A =x * (40 -x)
A =40x - x^2
dA/dx = 40 - 2 x
0 when x = 20, then y also = 20
