Locate the relative extremum and point of inflection as ordered pairs: y = 3x − ln(3x).

y = 3x - ln(3x)
y' = 3 - 1/x
y" = 1/x^2
So there is a min (y">0) at (1/3,1)
no inflection, since y" is never zero
