Question
a load of 10g is attached to end of a spring and its length is 8cm .if a load of 12g is hung from the same end and the length of the spring is 10cm ,calculate the length of the spring .if a load of 30g is hung at the same end
Answers
dx/dm = (10-8) cm / (12-10) grams = 1 cm/gram
so if dm = (30 - 10) = 20 grams
and dx = (x- 8) cm
1 cm/gram = (x-8) / 20
x - 8 = 20
x = 28 cm
so if dm = (30 - 10) = 20 grams
and dx = (x- 8) cm
1 cm/gram = (x-8) / 20
x - 8 = 20
x = 28 cm
