Determine the exact average rate of change of the function f(x) = -2/x^2 on XE [-2,6].

f(-2) = -2/4 = -1/2
f(6) = -2/36 = -1/18

avg rate of change = (f(6) - f(-2) )/(6-(-2)
= (-1/18 - (-1/2) )/8
= 1/18
