Without graphing (PLEASE DO IT IF NEEDED THIS IS JUST A PRACTICE PROBLEM) tell whether the slope of a line that model s the linear relationship is positive, negative, zero, or undefined. Then find the slope.
A babysitter earns $8 for 1h and $40 for 5h.
A. The slope of the relationship is zero.❌
B. The slope of the relationship is positive. ✅
C. The slope of the relationship is negative.❌
D. The slope of the relationship is undefined.❌
Find the slope. (Part two of the question.)

you have two points of the form (time, earnings),
(1,8), and (5,40)
as the time increases, the earnings increase, so the slope must be positive
(you had that, good!)
slope = (40-8)/(5-1) = 32/4 = 8 dollars/hour
