I did yf = y0 + bot + 1/2at^2 (1) So 0 = 10m 1/2gt^2 Then t = 2 + 10m/9.8/8^2 = 1.4s.

How unfortunate it didn't let me add on the word that, I said. Well, I'm just going to say that it's very weird how they add the formula differently.
4.4 - 3.3 = 1.1 -41.91 - 1.91 = -43.82
I just figured it out. You know we all learn differently so, I'd suggest you should've thought about that first. Otherwise thanks for the very helpful comment.
