longer side = 350/7 = 50
perimeter = 2 lengths + 2 widths
= ....
That's some strange looking rectangle.

The perimeter of a shape is the distance all the way round its edge. A rectangle has two shorter sides and in this rectangle each side measures 7cm. To find the area of a rectangle, you have to multiply its two different sides. You are given the area and you need to divide the area by 7 to find the longer side. 350 divided by 7 is 50, so the length of the longer side is 50 cm. The perimeter of the rectangle will be 50 cm add 7 cm doubled, so 57 × 2 which is 114 cm. Alternatively you can find the total of the rectangle’s four sides: 7 cm + 50 cm + 7 cm + 50 cm = 114 cm.
