A freight train leaves at 1:00 PM from a station. A passenger train leaves at 3:00 PM from the same station and travels in the same direction as the freight. The freight train is moving 28 mph slower than the passenger train. What is the speed of the passenger train if it overtakes the freight train at 6:00 PM?

If the passenger train's speed is x, then since distance = speed * time
(x-28)*5 = x*3
