a = 3 m/s^2
v = 3t + c
when t = 0, v = 0, so
v = 3t
s = (3/2)t^2 + k
when t = o, s = 0 , so k = 0
we know that at take-off, v = 33
33 = 3t
t = 11, so it took 11 seconds on the runway
s = (3/2)(11^2) = 181.5
the runway is 181.5 m long
v = 3t + c
when t = 0, v = 0, so
v = 3t
s = (3/2)t^2 + k
when t = o, s = 0 , so k = 0
we know that at take-off, v = 33
33 = 3t
t = 11, so it took 11 seconds on the runway
s = (3/2)(11^2) = 181.5
the runway is 181.5 m long
