I choose 2/3, which lies between 1/2 and 1
so 3 3/4 jumps of 2/3 = (15/4)(2/3) = 30/12 = 5/2
now add 5/2 to 2 3/4, the place where you started
= (5/2 ) + (11/4)
= 10/4 + 11/4
= 21/4 or 5 1/4
repeat the steps with a choice of your own.
Of course everybody will get a different answer.
