a recipe calls for 3/4 cup sugar and it makes 36 cookies. if 8 tablespoons = 1/3 cup, how many tablespoons of sugar is in each cookie

1/3 cup is 8 tbs
1 cup is 24 tbs
so 3/4 cup is (3/4)(24) or 18 tbs

36 cookie use 18 tbs of sugar
so 1 cookie contains 18/36 or 1/2 tbs of sugar.
