In triangle ABC below, line segment is 9 meters long and line segment is 7 meters long. Use the Pythagorean theorem to find the length of line segment to the nearest tenth of a meter. Show all of your work!

Since I can't see the triangle, I will assume that the given dimensions do not include the hypotenuse.

9^2 + 7^2 = c^2
