Question
If 25 moles of sodium acetate are dissolved in water, what would be the heat absorbed by the water?
Answers
You know I just don't have all of those tables memorized. Look up the heat of solution of sodium acetate (make sure it is for the salt YOU are looking for; i.e., monohydrate, trihydrate, etc). The ones I know about are endothermic; i.e., the water gets colder.
