With a transit and a tape measure.
You need to say what information you are given.

The question just says "How do you find the height of a triangular pyramid?"
and that's it, but none of the answer choices say "With a transit and a tape measure."

I think that the answer would be B, because A is completely not the answer, the 3rd number would be whatever the length is, and the 4th number would be whatever the width is.

it is the area of the base * 1/3 the height

Alex
Wait.. shouldn't the answer be B because what I have heard in math class is that the formula to finding the volume of a triangular pyramid is 1/3 (1/2 * length * width) * height, and I am in honors math class so I am sure this is right.

The last number would be the height because
1/3= basically 1st number
1/2= 2nd number
Length= 3rd number
Width= 4th number
Height= 5th number
1/3= basically 1st number
1/2= 2nd number
Length= 3rd number
Width= 4th number
Height= 5th number

Alex should be right because I also have honors math class and that is what my teacher taught me about the formula of a triangular pyramid.

Hi!
Hello! The triangular pyramid height can be calculated if the apothem (or slant height) of the side and the base are known.
