A 40 foot ladder which is leaning against a wall reaches a wall at a point 36 feet above the ground. Find the measure of angle created between the ladder and the ground.

sin (angle) = opposite / hypotenuse = 36 / 40
= 0.90
sin^-1 (0.90) = 64.2 degrees
= 0.90
