The zeroes tell you that
y = a(x+1)(x-7)
the point tells you that
a(5+1)(5-7) = 6
so a = -1/2
y = -1/2 (x^2-6x-7) = -1/2 (x^2-6x+9-16)
y = -1/2 (x-3)^2 + 8
y = a(x+1)(x-7)
the point tells you that
a(5+1)(5-7) = 6
so a = -1/2
y = -1/2 (x^2-6x-7) = -1/2 (x^2-6x+9-16)
y = -1/2 (x-3)^2 + 8
