A meter stick is balanced at the 50.cm mark. You tie a 25.N weight at the 30.cm mark. Where should a 30.N weight be placed so the meter stick will be balanced?

25*30 = 30*d

50 - 30 = 20
25 / 30 * 20 = 16.7 cm
50 + 16.7 = 66.7 cm mark

25(50-30) = 30(d-50)
d = 200/3 = 66.7
