If so first factor out a p
0 = p(2p^3 - 162)
now common factor out 2 and continue : )

I don't know what you mean by "solve" but if all you want to do is factor it, then that would be
2p(p^2-81) = 2p(p-9)(p+9)
2p(p^2-81) = 2p(p-9)(p+9)

well you have no equal sign so you can not solve it.
you could factor it
2p(p^2-81) = 2p(p+9)(p-9)
