Question 9. Determine the number a so that the line ax-5y + 3 = 0 passes through the point (2, -3).

Would it be correct to toss this into a formula and solve for A?

I.e. a*2-5*-3+3=0
a*2+15+3=0
a*2+18=0
a*2=-18
a=-9

?
