You should have knows that answer makes no sense since they would have collected 263 pounds.

In this situation it would be impossible for Kelly or Rachel to both carry weight more than 100 pounds if they actually carried a total of 193 pounds, so cross out B and D for sure. Now if Kelly carried 35 pounds more than Rachel, then it's likely that Kelly carried 114 pounds and Rachel carried 79 pounds, where 114 - 35 = 79. And so the amount they both carry of 79 and 114 pounds sums up to 193 pounds.
