v = at
plug in your numbers

think about it. every second, the velocity increases by 2 m/s.
Answered by henry2,
V^2 = Vo^2 + 2a*d = 0 + 4*9 = 36,
V = ___m/s.

vi = 0 m/s,
Δd = 9 m,
a = 2 m/s²,
vf = ?

vf² = vi² + 2aΔd
vf = sqrt(vi² + 2aΔd)
vf = sqrt[0² + 2(2)(9)]
vf = sqrt[36]
∴vf = 6 m/s
