average speed = 17.9/2
distance = 179/2 meters

v = Vi + a t
17.9 = 0 + a(10)
a = 1.79
x = Xi + Vi t + (1/2) a t^2
x-Xi = distance = 0 (10 + (1/2)(1.79) (100)
=179/2
